Regenerative Supply Systems Development
Regeneration requires consciously transitioning away from the opacity of existing supply chains towards the transparency of regenerative supply systems. This transformation increases access to previously-lost or inaccessible value, and greater equity in the distribution of that value among all stakeholders in the supply system. This type of transformation requires a deep understanding of the risks and opportunities inherent to a production context and its infrastructural foundation.
We engage our clients in order to evolve their understanding of the regenerative potential of their supply systems by facilitating holistic goal setting, education, research, analysis, mapping, strategy, and multi-stakeholder engagement. A holistic and comprehensive process reflects the need for unprecedented collaboration to bring regenerative supply systems to full capacity.
Landscape Design & Enterprise Planning
Whether retrofitting an existing system, or developing a greenfield system from scratch, we employ an integrative whole-systems and outcomes-oriented design approach for landscape projects of all types and at all scales, from smallholder farms to regional planning.
Outcomes-oriented landscape design and planning enables projects to contribute positively to economic, cultural, and ecological conditions within local landscapes and communities. This approach, informed by a deep understanding of analogous climate regions, and refined for place-based context, evolves projects beyond sustainable and toward regeneration.
ROV™
Now, more than ever, consumers seek products that are aligned with their social and environmental values. Farmers are looking for ways to learn how effective their management practices are and where improvements should be made. Investors want to know if their investments of capital are providing desired multi-capital returns on investment.
Regenerative Outcome Verification – ROV™ is a collaboratively-designed system for actively verifying and reporting change and improvement within landscapes, communities, and supply systems. Implicit in this process, we provide education and training to enable strategic goal-setting and multi-stakeholder capacity-building in regenerative agriculture and supply systems.
Educational Workshops and Series
Education is foundational to all of our work, and necessary for building capacity within the communities and organizations with whom we work. We provide education and training to enable strategic goal-setting and multi-stakeholder capacity-building in regenerative agriculture and supply systems.
Using a living systems approach we invite our partners into the regenerative paradigm and provide them with frameworks for increasing the potential of their work and business. This means developing a baseline benchmark for evaluating how existing environmental metrics are measured so that they may evolve from being ‘sustainable’ into becoming regenerative.
